Africa-Press – Angola. The government of the province of Cuanza Norte expressed its solidarity with the families of the victims of the road accident that caused 14 deaths and 30 injuries in the town of Lucala this morning.
The feeling was expressed by the vice-governor of Cuanza Norte for the Political, Social and Economic sector, Luzia José, who traveled to that municipality to assess the situation, guaranteeing the provincial government’s support for the families of the victims and assistance to the injured.
The governor urged motorists to exercise greater caution and observe the rules of the highway code.
The accident occurred around one o’clock, on national road number 230.
The incident occurred when a truck from Luanda collided with a van carrying workers from the plastic and cardboard recycling company “Full Bliss-Angola”, located in that municipality, causing it to overturn.
