Africa-Press – Angola. The Government of the Province of Zaire launched Monday, in Mbanza Kongo, a public tender for the concession, management and operation of the Comandante Bula Cultural Center.

In a press release distributed to the press, the Government of Zaire states that the launch of this public competition follows order no755/2023, of October 20th, which created the Jury Committee for this purpose.

The aim of this procedure, according to the note, is to hire a private entity to manage the aforementioned cultural center, which this year benefited from rehabilitation, expansion and modernization works, financed by the company Angola-LNG.

The press release clarifies that the public tender complies with the provisions of no. 41/20, of December 23, Public Contracts Law.

The Comandante Bula Cultural Center, a building inherited from colonial times, was rehabilitated, expanded, modernized and equipped, including its multipurpose hall, located in the adjacent area, which now has more seats in the stands.

The infrastructure, reopened in May this year, also now has some stores in the outdoor area.

The announcement of the launch of the public tender for the management of this project was already eagerly awaited by local young people, who lack leisure and entertainment spaces to occupy their free time.
