Africa-Press – Angola. The Provincial Government of Moxico expresses dismay at the physical death of the former director of Former Combatants and Veterans of the Fatherland, general Daniel Prata “Africa”, which occurred on March 4, victim of illness, in the municipality of Bundas.
Aged 76, the Provincial Government states that General África will always be remembered as a “brave son of this country who dedicated his life to the noblest causes of the Angolan Nation, in favor of national liberation, the conquest of peace and the reconciliation of all the Angolans”.
In a note, the government also recalls that General África, born in the municipality of Bundas, Moxico province, leaves behind a legacy of patriotism, abnegation and service, which is why “we bow before his memory”.
Before addressing feelings of condolences to the family, the government reiterates that “his premature death was a hard blow, because he was a man with many dreams and ideas to come true, and he will be remembered for his memorable deeds and unforgettable moments of conviviality” .
