Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial governor of Luanda Manuel Homem convened, this Monday, in the town of Muxima, Quiçama’s municipal headquarters, the council of social consultation that brought together all those responsible for that district.

The governor is in the municipality for two days of work and during the meeting the main concerns that disturb the citizens were raised, such as the lack of drinking water, communication routes in all five communes of the municipality, as well as communication difficulties .

On the sidelines of the meeting, the municipal administrator of Quiçama, Elizabethe Rafael, made it known that the municipality has multiple problems and its solution is, in the first instance, to improve access roads.

“To bring any service to the communities, we need access roads and these practically do not exist”, he said.

According to the manager, to access some locations in her municipality, it is only possible in large trucks such as those of the Oral brand and, in others, only passing through the provinces of Cuanza Norte and Cuanza Sul.

On his first day of work in Quiçama, the governor visited four schools and a library under construction, in the Coxi community, within the scope of the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM), one of which has already been completed.

For Tuesday, a visit is scheduled to the commune of Demba Chio, passing through the CCT, Mucolo Mienga, Salinas, Culemba and Camona neighborhoods.

It is limited to the north by the municipalities of Viana and Icolo and Bengo, to the east by the municipalities of Cambambe (Province of Cuanza Norte), Libolo and Quibala (Province of Cuanza Sul), to the south by the municipalities of Quilenda and Porto Amboim (Cuanza Sul), and to the west by the Atlantic Ocean.
