Africa-Press – Angola. The government of Bié province will this year reinforce actions aimed at improving working conditions, transport and training of civil servants, with a view to providing dignified service to citizens.

The local governor, Pereira Alfredo, who visited the offices of Education, Health, Former Combatants and Veterans of the Fatherland, Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports, underlined that the authorities intend to raise the quality required in the public administration, as well as the employee.

He assured that the Government intends to continue supporting policies related to youth, arts and sports practitioners, establishing new goals, depending on the program that the entities have in the social sector of this province.

He referred that the findings in public bodies and in the communities of the interior will continue, in order to allow the listening to the constraints that the populations face and to find solutions that contribute in the improvement of the conditions of life of the citizens.

Meanwhile, the Director of Education in Bié, Amado Leonardo, asserted that, during this year, the government authorities will focus more on building schools, improving the quality of teaching, promoting teachers, strengthening inspection actions in areas of pedagogical influence, between others.

The head of Health, João Campos do Nasicmento Cacungula, said that, in addition to the Government embarking on the construction of health units, it could also invest in the strict management of human and financial resources, equipping hospitals, as well as improving humanized care.

In turn, the director of the Office of Former Combatants and Veterans of the Fatherland, Isaac Machado, confirmed the entry into operation of the re-registration and proof of life center at the end of this month of January.

He took the opportunity to present several difficulties to the governor, mainly the lack of support in the distribution of plots for self-construction aimed at former combatants.
