Africa-Press – Angola. Grupo Carrinho will present this week, from 4 to 9 September, in Catumbela municipality, 9 Benguela province, a study on the Strategic Vision of its action until 2030.
The aforementioned vision, 2030, has to do with assessing current and future supply and demand for agricultural and livestock products and the investment needed to satisfy growing demand, among other critical aspects, to achieve food self-sufficiency in the country.
In allusion to the celebration of its 30th anniversary, the event aims to make the company self-sufficient in the organization of commodities, according to a company source.
The undertaking has the participation of the Center for Studies and Scientific Research of the University of Angola and its consultant Deloite,
During the event, topics such as: The study on food self-sufficiency and the 2030 vision, Agriculture and food self-sufficiency, Financing the productive sector, among others, will be discussed.
The Carrinho Group has an industrial complex composed of seventeen factories with the capacity to process more than two million tons of raw materials, located in the Taka area, Benguela province, producing over twenty basic basket products.
The company was founded in 1993.
