Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, left Luanda this Friday for the province of Namibe, where he will inaugurate infrastructure to support the Iona National Park, among other activities.
At the Luanda Air Base, the Head of State, accompanied by the First Lady Ana Dias Lourenço, received farewell greetings from the Vice-President of the Republic, Esperança da Costa, among other individuals present.
According to the press services of the President of the Republic, the presence of the Head of State in the Iona National Park will take place on Saturday, May 18th.
Before leaving Namibe, on Sunday, João Lourenço will lead a meeting with the provincial government, to find out about the region’s socio-economic situation, within the framework of the Open Presidency program.
