Africa-Press – Angola. The musician Henrique Sozinho is the representative of the province of Cabinda in the edition of Top do Mais Queridos/2023, winning the provincial phase with the song entitled, “Come and see Cabinda”.
Speaking Thursday, Henrique Sozinho, also known as Henrique Bitebi, who participates for the second consecutive time in the national phase of the Top dos Mais Queridos, said it was a great challenge, as he will do his best to achieve top places in the competition.
He requested support from all Cabindans for an auspicious participation.
Composer and promoter of events, Henrique Sozinho started singing since he was a little boy in his family and in the church.
In 2004 he records his first song with the title, ́ ́Nvika Malavu ́ ́ and, a year later, his first eight-track album with the title, ́ ́Nani Ku Sali Sa ́ ́.
In 2014, he released the second album by the originals, ́ ́Buisi Buma Tchia ́ ́, considered to be the most successful in terms of sales in the province.
In 2021, Henrique Bitebi wins the provincial phase of the Top dos Mais Queridos with the song ́ ́Minu Ndjeio ́ ́ and in 2022 he records “Venha e Veja Cabinda”, chosen as the popular song of the year and the most sung currently.
Henrique Sozinho informed that his third record work is in progress.
In addition to being a musician, Henrique Sozinho is the provincial secretary of Natural Resources Oil and Gas Industry in Cabinda .
