Africa-Press – Angola. At least 100 exhibitors from the municipalities of Lubango, Humpata and Chibia, Huíla province, will participate in a multisectoral fair, from the 25th to the 29th of the current month, in a promotion by the Provincial Office for Integrated Economic Development and partners.
The event takes place within the framework of the meeting of employment and labor ministers of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and Social Partners, aiming to showcase the production potential of various goods and services in the province.
The fair takes place at the Nossa Senhora do Monte tourist and sports complex and also has as partners the Provincial Office of Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports, the provincial service of the national Institute of support for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, the Women’s Association Entrepreneurs from Huíla and others.
When speaking about the subject, the director of the Provincial Office for Integrated Economic Development, Domingos Kalumana, stated that the fair is a mechanism to promote Huíla’s potential in various areas of production, highlighting entrepreneurial women, depending on the month dedicated to the gender.
He declared it to be an event to add value so that families, producers, associations, businesspeople, cooperatives and others can show what they have in the field of production, from tourism, arts and crafts, agriculture and small rural processing industries.
