Africa-Press – Angola. The Privatization Program (PROPRIV) has made it possible, in the last three years, to privatize a total of 89 assets and companies, which represents revenue in favor of the State of 926.52 billion contracted kwanzas, of which 536.52 have already been received thousand millions.
These data were shared by the Minister of Economy and Planning, Mário Caetano João, who presided, yesterday, at the inauguration of two more manufacturing units awarded by the Institute for the Management of State Assets and Participations (IGAPE) in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) Luanda – Bengo. In the Luanda – Bengo Special Economic Zone (ZEE) the plastic factories of the Indústria, Comércio e Construção (ICC) group and the AMADEL real estate factory were inaugurated yesterday.
In the specific case of the ICC group, an investment of more than four billion kwanzas was estimated, as the unit’s disposal value and the remainder channeled to improvements and operation.
With this investment, 70 direct and 150 indirect jobs are planned. As for the production capacity is about five thousand tons of plastic per year.
In this context, with the two units, the minister highlighted, the ZEE currently has about 32 assets from 2019 to 2022 and that, at the moment, preparations are underway to launch eight more units, which will accelerate the national production.
