Parliamentary leaders of the International Conference of the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) are meeting in Luanda to discuss regional issues related to inclusive leadership, peace and security and humanitarian assistance. The Conference of Presidents is expected to appoint the new Secretary-General of the PF-ICGLR, from among three candidates from Tanzania, Kenya and Burundi. In addition to approving the agenda for the organization’s 15th Plenary Session, which opens tomorrow (Thursday).
