Africa-Press – Angola. The inspector general of State Administration (IGAE), João Manuel Francisco, promised, this Thursday, in Huambo, to act in a humane way in supervising the treasury in favor of the organization and control of public institutions.

The official was speaking to the press, after a meeting with the governor of the province of Huambo, Lotti Nolika, as part of the 48-hour visit he is carrying out in this region of the Central Highlands.

The inspector general recalled that the inspection function must be carried out with moderation and restraint, through observance of legal principles associated with rigor, impartiality and transparency, for a coherent performance of public service programs.

He added that this activity is normally undertaken with the observance of professional secrecy, to avoid compromising exposures of institution employees, as well as respect for probity, with a focus on the positive performance of public administration.

João Manuel Francisco asserted that it was necessary to seek balanced and discreet action during an inspection of public services, in accordance with legislative instruments for the satisfactory functioning of state institutions.

He highlighted that IGAE will always impose the legality of public administration, without interfering in the organization dedicated to the bodies of Justice, overcoming barriers and strengthening institutional cooperation.

He highlighted that pedagogical actions constitute the main instrument of action, with which IGAE seeks to contribute to the education and awareness of public managers and administrative agents.

During his stay in this province, the inspector general of State Administration (IGAE) will hold a meeting with the institution’s workers and lead a workshop on “Ethics in public administration”, to be held in the auditorium of the Human Resources Training Center. Journalists (CEFOJOR).
