Africa-Press – Angola. Public managers and technicians from the municipal administration of Ombadja, Cunene province, were, this Monday, trained in methodological techniques and procedures in treasury management.
The training aimed to create necessary mechanisms that guarantee careful management of allocated resources.
During the training, promoted by the General Inspectorate of State Administration (IGAE), topics related to the emergence of IGAE and its functional paradigm, inspection of public markets, employee disciplinary regime and public management were covered.
On the occasion, the IGAE delegate in Cunene, Moisés Sovi, asked those present for more discipline in carrying out their duties, highlighting that the State has increased responsibilities towards the interests of the nation.
He said that the seminar served to enlighten participants about the methodology and procedures in treasury management, as well as to address the main irregularities detected in public administration and State asset management.
“With this training action, IGAE intends to train public managers to manage efficiently the resources allocated by the Executive, to better serve citizens”, he said.
The General State Inspectorate, he added, has been carrying out pedagogical actions with public institutions, to correct the distortions that have been emerging.
“We remember that the current moment requires that managers are committed to the Executive’s commitments and to the citizens, which is why the subjects programmed for this training action must serve as a compass in carrying out your tasks”, he highlighted.
The person responsible requested greater collaboration of complaints from residents for proper treatment.
147 trainees participated in the event, including deputy municipal and communal administrators, municipal delegates and directors, heads of sections and basic employees.
IGAE is a body of direct and indirect administration of the State that assists in the functioning of auditing and supervision to improve the basic laws for carrying out activities, transforming them into good practices.
