Africa-Press – Angola. At least 58 business institutions from different branches have already been electronically certified, since June to the present date, in the province of Cuando Cubango, a new platform implemented by the National Institute of Support to Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM).
Among several other benefits, the program aims to simplify and decentralize the certification process, as well as allow entrepreneurs to apply online.
Speaking this Tuesday, the head of INAPEM’s Department in Cuando Cubango, Jacob Paulo, considered the indicator of adhesion on the part of the owners of micro, small and medium-sized companies that are adhering to the new institution certification platform to be positive. , all because of its multiple benefits.
He referred that the new platform launched in June of the current year, allows the applicant to collect his documentation in 72 hours, as opposed to the 30 days or more that previously took.
Among the advantages is the reduction, by two percent, of the industrial tax, the exemption from stamp duty, the request, in a quick, viable and safe way of the documents of the business institutions, through the INAPEM portal, thus avoiding , the move to Luanda, the country’s capital.
Jacob Paulo advanced that by the end of this financial year, the institution he directs plans to certify more than 100 business institutions, due to the advantages already mentioned above.
It should be noted that INAPEM in the province of Cuando Cubango has already registered a total of 825 certified and controlled companies in its database, a number that could increase with the new platform.
