Africa-Press – Angola. The president of the Board of Directors of Emdiama, Ganga Júnior, considered, this Thursday, in Saurimo, Lunda-Sul province, the recent creation of the Industrial Projects Institute (INPROITEC) as a fundamental factor in creating greater robustness in the Angolan mining sector.
Speaking during the inauguration of the members of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Industrial Projects, the manager of the Angolan state diamond company maintained that this robustness will reinforce local capacity and develop industrial projects, which represents an achievement for the sector.
He mentioned that, with the creation of this institution, the aim is to have the mining sector industry more structured, with a view to better achieving its objectives.
“We felt that we should have a new internal embryo, in order to carry out the most different studies, projects that lead to the creation of strong mining companies”, he stated.
Ganga Júnior also said that INPROITEC will provide technical and scientific support to industrial projects, with a greater focus on projects in the mining sector.
The Board of Directors of the Institute of Industrial Projects is made up of Tomás Vigário, president of the Board of Directors, Manuel dos Santos, vice-president, Ady Van-Dúnem and João Penito, non-executive directors, respectively.
During the inauguration, those responsible swore to work hard to achieve the objectives recommended by the sector.
The inauguration ceremony was witnessed by members of the Board of Directors of Endiama, Catoca and different partners from the mining sector.
