Africa-Press – Angola. Interclube revalidated this Thursday, in Luanda, the title of national senior women’s basketball champion (Liga Azule2024), by beating 1o de Agosto, 61-60, in the third game of the play-offs of the final the best of five matches.
At halftime of the match, played at Pavilhão do Kilamba and quite balanced from start to finish, Interclube trailed 23-28, after winning the first quarter 15-14.
In the third quarter, the defense of Interclube’s zone worked for a few minutes, but the team coached by Paulo Macedo triumphed again by 45-41.

The fight under the table between Tamara Seda and Cristina Matiquite was in evidence, with Interclube, in the “electrifying” final moments, trying to reverse the score that was unfavorable to them. The game recorded two draws 57-57 and 60-60.
Overall, Interclube, coached by Elisa Pires, won the first game 60-56, the second (73-71) and the third (61-60). totaling three positive results.
