Africa-Press – Angola. A training action on scenic direction and performance is being held, until the 25th of June of this year, from 14:00 to 17:00, at Elinga Teatro, in Luanda, by the project “Cultura Para Todos”, of the International Theater Circuit (CIT) .
During the training, given by professors Fernando Quissola, José Teixeira, Tony Frampénio, Edilson dos Santos, courses on characterization, make-up, theater production, marketing and culture will also be given.
The objective of the training action is to improve the quality of the potential of the participants, in order to guarantee an acceptable product, in the future, for the use of the final consumer.
José Teixeira, one of the guest trainers, told yesterday that it is important to start improving the performances of many Angolan actors, due to the dynamics observed today in the performing arts.
The Angolan actors, he said, must be prepared for the challenges of the future, which is why the training will allow them to give another quality and correct some weaknesses that many young people still have, mainly in the field of scenic representation. This year, the seventh edition of the CIT, will promote more than one hundred theater shows, from July to September, in honor of the centenary of the first President of Angola, António Agostinho Neto.
The theater shows will be shown, according to the organization, in the provinces of Luanda, Benguela, Bengo, Uíge, Huíla, Malanje and Bié.
