Africa-Press – Angola. The Criminal Illegal Investigation Department (DIIP) of the Moxico Provincial Command of the National Police presented, in the city of Luena, several citizens who were dedicated to the theft and forgery of train tickets.
Among the items seized and recovered are a handcrafted shotgun-type firearm, 123 12-meter construction rods, two electro-pumps, a printer, a set of rollers for printing train tickets with 38 false tickets. , four plasma televisions, 15 sound equipment, three gas cylinders, two motorbikes, two mobile phones and a wallet with various personal documents.
Sub-inspector André Ngungo, spokesman for the Provincial Police Command, said that the DIP, in coordination with other National Police Forces, carried out two micro-operations that made it possible to detain seven individuals, indicted in crimes of robbery, theft and forgery of documents.
The neighborhoods with the highest number of robberies are Kapango, Social da Juventude, Alto Luena and Alto Campo, according to the sub-inspector, adding that the perpetrators of the crimes are young people between the ages of 18 and 35.
