JMPLA in Uíge reaffirms its commitment to supporting vulnerable families

Africa-Press – Angola. The Provincial Secretariat of JMPLA in Uíge on Thursday reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the social assistance program for vulnerable families in the region, supporting actions aimed at improving basic sanitation and other initiatives for the well-being of the population.

Since the beginning of this year, JMPLA in Uíge has provided social support to 37 vulnerable families, with the delivery of food, clothing, hygiene materials and other essential utensils for domestic use.

This intention was manifested in the act of delivering a stove, food goods and hygiene material to a couple of eight children who live in the Candombe Novo neighborhood, on the outskirts of the city of Uíge, where the first provincial secretary of JMPLA in Uíge, Faustino Nguange Simão, he said it was an initiative of the MPLA youth association in collaboration with local businessmen, aimed at supporting vulnerable families in the district.

He referred that JMPLA will continue to make efforts towards social assistance, mainly to people who are in a vulnerable situation, a bet that aims to contribute to the improvement of the dignity of the human person.
