Africa-Press – Angola. JMPLA provincial secretary, Rubens Muhondo, reiterated the organization’s commitment to the tasks of maintaining peace, unity and national reconciliation, through the establishment of relationships based on forgiveness and acceptance of differences.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Abril-Jovem day, the youth leader also expressed JMPLA’s commitment to combating political intolerance, as it constitutes a setback to the consolidation of the Democratic State and the Rule of Law.
He guaranteed that JMPLA is not oblivious to the concerns of young people, as it continues to advocate with decision-making bodies to improve the social conditions of this fringe.
On the other hand, he urged young people to invest in self-employment, with a view to generating jobs for others, in addition to assuming themselves as active agents in the task of promoting domestic production for the country’s development.
Furthermore, he requested the permanent intervention of youth in the moralization of society, in order to banish practices that undermine good coexistence.
Rubens Muhondo recalled that JMPLA is carrying out, this year, the organic process of the IX Ordinary Congress, which will make it possible to boost the organization, through the inclusion of young people technically capable of responding to upcoming challenges.
The event was attended by activists from the province’s 14 municipalities and former JMPLA provincial secretaries.
