Africa-Press – Angola. The president of the MPLA, João Lourenço, led, this Monday, in the auditorium of the Futungo II Tourist Complex, in Luanda, the 5th Ordinary Meeting of the Political Bureau, which will analyze, among other matters, the annual activity plan and the party’s budget for 2024.
The meeting also focused on aspects linked to the internal life of the party, with highlighting the change in the organization and operation regulations of certain departments of the Central Committee, taking into account the major challenges of the present and future.
Consisting of 101 members, the Bureau Politician deliberates between meetings of the Central Committee and takes care of specific adjustments to the Party’s strategies.
It is also the responsibility of the Political Bureau, among other tasks, organize the internal life of the party, pronounce on the Government compositions and the appointment of activists to hold positions or functions of political responsibility at national level.
