Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, acknowledged this Wednesday, in Luanda, that the youngest health professionals deployed in the country’s main hospital units “are working authentic miracles”.
The Head of State was speaking at a press conference during the inauguration of the Hospital Materno-Infantil Dr. Azacont de Menezes, located in the Urban District of Camama, municipality of Belas, capital of the country.
In his speech, President João Lourenço highlighted the commitment of the younger health professionals at the Josina Machel Hospital, for whom “they are performing several surgeries”, as well as those at the Cardeal Dom Alexandre do Nascimento Hospital Complex for Cardio-Pulmonary Diseases “where has a very young team of cardiologists who have performed miracles”.
The President of the Republic also emphasized the importance of health professionals providing increasingly humanized services to populations
