Africa-Press – Angola. The former President of Cape Verde, Jorge Carlos Fonseca, presents, on the 28th, in Luanda, at the Angolan Writers’ Union (UEA) his new book entitled “The Crane and the Muse of Hands Dadas”.
It is a compilation of reflections, poems and various notes related to his country and the author’s daily life.
The work will be presented by the writer and poet Lopito Feijóo, a member of the Angolan Writers’ Union.
After Lisbon (Portugal) and Praia (Cape Verde), “The Crane and the Muse of Hands Dadas” will now be presented to the Angolan public.
Born in the Cape Verdean city of Mindelo, on the island of São Vicente, in 1950, Jorge Carlos Fonseca is married and the father of three daughters.
Graduated in Law and Master in Legal Sciences, by the Faculty of Law of Lisbon, the current Cape Verdean head of State , who ends his second term this year, has published 22 books, including legal, literary and other works.
