Africa-Press – Angola. The African Union (AU) commissioner, Josefa Sacko was distinguished at the 8th edition of the agro-African forum, which took place in Morocco.
According to a note sent this Thursday, Josefa Sacko deserved this recognition due to her dedication and commitment, in the strategy that aimed at the rapid recovery of the agricultural sector victimized by COVID that affected the gains achieved in recent years.
“This recognition came at the best time, as it is gratifying for all those who believed and comes to value the effort of our work”, he stressed quoted in the same statement.
The event, which takes place annually, brought together the main stakeholders in the agricultural sector to discuss the challenges and opportunities to advance towards the goals of Agenda-2063.
This year, the forum took place under the theme: “Better facing the challenges of African agriculture”, says a note sent.
