Africa-Press – Angola. The Judo Elite of Talatona won, this Sunday, in Malanje, the National Senior Judo Championship, for both sexes.

To this end, he defeated Ked Kano from Lobito in the final for mixed teams of the event, thus revalidating the title.

In the individual category, the group participated with twelve athletes and won three gold medals and five bronze medals.

According to the team’s coach, Wilfridiano Neto “Mestre Koga”, the group had a positive performance, as the last opponents were very strong, especially Interclube, who forced a draw in the quarter-finals.

The defeated finalist collected, in individual events, one gold, one silver and two bronze medals, reasonable results, according to Ked Kano’s coach, Bruno Martins.

The coach mentioned that technical failures were the basis of the defeat in the final, combined with the fact that some athletes fought in higher categories.

In the 73 kilogram category, athletes Rodrigo Fernando, António Candieiro and Acácio Quifucussa were the first three classified.
