Africa-Press – Angola. The JURA secretary in the municipality of Caála, Huambo province, Alberto Ferro Joaquim, defended Saturday, massive investment in the private business sector, to better help boost economic diversification policies.
Speaking at a consultation meeting with entrepreneurs and street vendors in the municipality, he said it was necessary to invest more and more in the private sector, to increase job options and give the right direction to businesspeople’s activities.
Alberto Ferro Joaquim said that UNITA’s youth organization is committed to continuing to help vulnerable families to have greater self-sustainability capacity and, consequently, participate in the local Government’s strategic development plans.
Therefore, he pointed to local production on larger scales as a decisive factor in reducing the import of basic food products.
