Africa-Press – Angola. Kabuscorp do Palanca defeated Luanda City 1-0 this Friday in the opening match of the third round of the National Football Championship (Girabola 2025-26), played at the 22 de Junho Stadium in the country’s capital.
The only goal of the match was scored in the 8th minute by Paketa, following a free kick.
Despite leading, Palanca dropped back and ended the half under pressure from their opponent.
In the second half, Luanda City were more daring, creating several chances but failing to equalize.
Kabuscorp, however, with less pace, rarely troubled the opposing goal, finishing the match with a narrow one-nil lead.
In the fourth round, Kabuscorp do Palanca visits Redonda do Bengo, while Luanda City FC plays Recreativo do Libolo.
