The competition in the country’s capital (Luanda), which involves eight local clubs, is part of the opening of the 2023-2024 sports season.

Starting at 8:00 am, the event will pit swimmers from Clube Náutico da Ilha de Luanda, Clube de Natação de Luanda, Clube Naval de Luanda, 1° de Agosto, Clubes Golfinhos de Luanda, Onda Sport Clube, Colégio Português Escola and Luanda International School.

As for the event in the city on the central plateau, called “Huambo Swimming Water Festival”, it will take place in a space of 25 m, with the participation of 30 children’s swimmers, to celebrate the province’s 111th anniversary.

This is the third edition, after 2019, 2021 and now 2023. The festival is organized by Claubarto Yofina, in partnership with local administration and support from the Angolan Swimming Federation.
