Africa-Press – Angola. The Order of Engineers of Angola (OAS) held, on Sunday, in Luanda, the official launch session of the organization of the 8th Africa Engineering Conference, to take place, from the 9th to the 13th of September, at the Hotel Intercontinental, in the neighborhood Miramar.
The announcement was made by the president of the OAS after the presentation of the 10th African Engineering Week. Baltazar de Almeida informed that the two activities are organized by the African Engineering Federation (FAEO) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco).
Currently, he said, the presence of African countries in both activities has been active. “Africans have been very strong in these activities, in which the state of engineering in African countries is discussed”, he guaranteed.
In relation to the themes prepared by the Order of Engineers of Angola, Baltazar de Almeida informed that questions about progress, innovation and perspectives for African development in engineering will be brought up for discussion.
