Africa-Press – Angola. Aspects linked to agricultural insurance will be analyzed, from the 24th to the 26th of this month, in Luanda, during an international seminar, in an initiative by ACT- Consultoria.
According to a note from this institution, the meeting aims to develop skills with sector specialists, with a view to implementing new solutions in the Angolan market.
The event should bring together, in addition to Angolans, experts from South Africa, Kenya, Mozambique, among other countries.
The note states that it is also intended to involve market players, institutional and business, for global strategic alignment, as well as promoting the sharing of relevant and reliable information about the sector and its importance for the country’s development.
Agricultural insurance offers farmers the opportunity to develop their production at a reduced cost.
In July 2023, the Angolan Government and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) – a member of the World Bank Group – signed a partnership agreement to implement an agricultural insurance development project in the country.
ACT – Consultoria is a private company, governed by Angolan law, dedicated to providing business consultancy services, based in Luanda.
