Africa-Press – Angola. Forward Paulo Luvumbo was named Man of the Match (MVP) this Sunday after a hat trick in Angola’s 5-0 victory over Lesotho in the second round of Group C of the COSAFA U-17 Cup, taking place in Harare (Zimbabwe).

The Interclube forward was a standout performer for Mário Catala’s team, which was already leading 3-0 at halftime.

Luvumbo, 15, scored goals in the 29th, 53rd, and 90th minutes.

The other goals for the national team were scored by Eliseu Francisco, from a penalty kick (4′), and Constantino Chianica (20′).

Recall that in the opening match on Friday, Angola also defeated Botswana 5-0.

In that match, team captain Gabriel Silva, a Petro de Luanda player, was named Man of the Match. MVP.

In Sunday’s match, Angola played with the following starting lineup: Dala, Castro, Vandro, Osvaldo, Dumbo, Jairo, Gabriel, Manelson, Eliseu, Luvumbo, and Chianica.
