Africa-Press – Angola. The team from Macovi Sport Clube was crowned national team chess champion this Wednesday night, after reaching 12 points, in seven rounds, played in the Swiss system.
In the last two rounds, which took place in the city of Cuito, Bié province, Macovi beat Lunda Sul in the seventh, by 3-1, after compromising in the sixth, in which they lost to Ditrov, by 0.5 -3.5.
In second place was Oasis do Namibe, with 10 points, and in third was Ditrov, also ten points.
Nacional de Benguela came fourth, with 9 points. Next comes Huambo A, with 08, Huíla, with 07, Mora Sport Club, also with 07, FC Bravos do Maquis, with 05, Huambo B, with 04, Lunda Sul, with 03, and the host Bié managed only 02 spots.
