Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of the Interior, Manuel Homem, suspended the training of more than 5 thousand recruits who were taking the course at the Migration and Foreigners Center, in Viana, Luanda.
The suspension was due to alleged irregularities in the recruitment and selection process of staff. The future agents, who had been training for six months, were preparing for the end of the course on 28 November.
The 5,000 recruits were surprised when their uniforms and passes were collected. It is worth remembering that Manuel Homem took office three weeks ago as Minister of the Interior, replacing Eugénio Laborinho.
