Africa-Press – Angola. FC Bravos do Maqui defensive midfielder Messias Neves has terminated his contract with the Moxico Province team and is on his way to Libyan football, where he may represent a club in the local First Division.
The 28-year-old athlete has played for Bravos do Maqui, a club based in Moxico Province, since 2023, having made nine appearances in the current season of the National Football Championship “Unitel League Girabola 2025/26”.
To fill the gap in this midfield sector, Bravos do Maqui signed “Zidane”, a defensive midfielder from Benfica of Guinea-Bissau, who may play during the second half of the championship.
The FC Bravos do Maqui have a new president, Agrione Manuel, since Friday (20), replacing Augusto Quitadica Docas, who recently passed away due to illness.
He will be at the helm of Maquis Club until 2028.
In the Unitel League Girabola 2025/26, Maqui occupies 4th position with 26 points, in a championship led by Petro de Luanda with 39 points.
