Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial delegate of the Ministry of the Interior in Cabinda, Franscisco Baptista Noticia, asked the SME staff on Friday, in this city, for greater control and inspection at border posts.

The SME in the province controls from January to September this year, one thousand 141 citizens holding a work visa, 402 with resident cards, 103 citizens with a temporary stay visa, and 30 foreign citizens seeking asylum, which makes a total of one thousand 676 foreigners with regular immigration status.

The province of Cabinda borders the Republics of Congo (RC) and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), where along the land, river and sea borders there has been a daily movement of citizens from these countries who, at all costs, They try to reach cities and towns in the region with migratory status and irregular stays.

It is up to senior officers, subordinates and promoted agents to redouble their efforts and measures in control and inspection missions, combating all irregularities that violate the country’s immigration law.
