Africa-Press – Angola. Technicians from the Institutional Communication and Press offices (GCII) of the Ministry of the Interior, in southern Cunene province, have been participating since this Tuesday in the methodological seminar on the standardization of information for better communication.
The three-day seminar aims to raise the level of knowledge of the staff in terms of institutional communication, so that they can respond effectively to the demands of the area.
The training is discussing “Techniques for masters of ceremonies”, “public relations, social responsibilities and institutional communication”, “management and communication in times of crisis”, “news writing and informative content in institutional communication”.
Speaking at the opening of the event, the acting delegate for the Interior in Cunene, José Celestino, said that communication constitutes a way of transmitting a positive image of the institution, being fundamental the training of the staff, in order to inform accurately, objectively and informational veracity.
He reasoned that in the current world of ICT, the performance of institutional communication must be turned to the dynamics of social networks, forcing the adoption of mechanisms capable of accompanying and supervising all information that is published on digital platforms.
For this reason, he said it was imperative to implement specific responses in certain situations, highlighting the need to permanently train professionals to better serve.
