Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing, Carlos Alberto dos Santos, considered, this Friday, the construction and rehabilitation of road infrastructures, in particular roads and bridges, as a factor that has boosted growth and development socioeconomic status of the country.
When congratulating the commitment of professionals from the Angolan Roads Institute (INEA), which (17th) celebrates 31 years of its existence, the government official also points to the construction of road infrastructures as an indispensable vehicle for the reconstruction of Angola and promoting the development of structuring projects.
On this date, dedicated to INEA, the minister highlights the performance of all employees and collaborators in the sector, who have had a mission spirit and worked between the urban and more remote areas of the national territory, so that roads and bridges continue to unite the Angolans, to strengthen peace and give confidence to the present and the future of the next generations.
“The sector is proud, and feels fully represented, with the professionalism, selflessness and strong commitment of all INEA employees”, he highlighted.
The Ministry of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing (MINOPUH) is the auxiliary body of the Holder of the Executive Power, which is responsible for proposing the formulation of policies, executing and controlling the Executive’s programs and projects in the areas of its activity.
Meanwhile, the Angolan Roads Institute (INEA), supervised by MINOPUH, is the body whose mission is to ensure the quality of road infrastructures, promote and supervise the conception, design, construction and operation of the road network and bridges in the country.
