The minister reiterated this fact to the press, on the sidelines of the reception of the Angolan delegation that participated in the high-level United Nations Conference on the Oceans (UNOC), held from 2 to 6 June in Nice, France.

The country’s commitment was also to bring knowledge of ocean literacy, with traceable fishing production, maritime safety, sustainable tourism and a healthy environment.

The conference joined all the countries, organizations and institutions that work for the oceans, under the motto “reorganization, planning of activities with a view to the sustainability of the oceans”.

It brought a message of diversification of work in the seas, which allows them to reproduce and, above all, carry out their oceanographic processes, so that they constitute a healthy environment that can bring more benefits to human kind, from the point of view of the availability of biological and mineral resources.

The official announced that Angola was present at the event and demonstrated that it works towards the sustainability of the oceans, which reflects the globe.
