Africa-Press – Angola. Minister of State and Chief of the Military Staff of the President, Francisco Furtado, assured on Saturday continued support to military units to promote greater dignity for troops.
He made this announcement during a visit to the Integrated Regiment of the Logistics and Infrastructure Directorate of the Presidential Military Staff in Sequele, Icolo e Bengo Province.
Furtado emphasized that the troops will receive ongoing support to ensure they are prepared to fulfill their missions with rigor and determination. He said that support will be extended to the Presidential Guard, Special Units, the Multipefil Clinic, health centers, and others.
The visited unit benefits from a drinking water supply system, a factory that produces 10,000 blocks daily, and fruit orchards. The unit also produces agricultural products, such as tomatoes, kale, and cabbage, which serve as feed for local livestock.
The infrastructure includes a 50-person meeting room, three men’s barracks with over 100 beds, a women’s barracks with approximately 50 beds, and a 200-person dining hall.
