Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of State for Economic Coordination, Manuel Nunes Júnior, is carrying out a working visit today and Saturday, in Namibe province, to launch new projects included in the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM), in Moçamedes.
The State minister’s program of activities also includes the inauguration today of a school with seven classrooms, in the commune of Lucira, which is more than 200 kilometers north of the municipal seat of Moçâmedes.
Manuel Nunes Júnior will also visit some PIIM works, at the headquarters of Namibe province, with emphasis on the sanitary landfill, the Hospital in the 5 de Abril neighborhood, the road recycling works in the Saidy Mingas and Social da Juventude neighborhoods.
The construction of the aforementioned infrastructures is included in Presidential Decree 114/22, which authorizes a sum of US$46.2 million for the “urgent conclusion” of several projects within the scope of the PIIM.
