Africa-Press – Angola. More than 20 referees are attending a refresher training seminar on the Laws of the Game for indoor soccer (Futsal) in the province of Luanda, sponsored by the Angolan Football Federation (FAF).
The event, which began on Tuesday (July 8) in the country’s capital and is led by the FAF Refereeing Council, will last 5 days and will include members of the Luanda Provincial Football Association (APFL) in its various categories.
Helder Martins, the FAF Refereeing Council Chair, assured that he will oversee all training sessions across the various associations to standardize refereeing.
The former international referee also announced upcoming seminars in the provinces of Benguela, Cuanza-Norte, Cuanza-Sul, Huambo, Huíla, and Namibe, with the goal of selecting candidates for the next national futsal championship, kicking of in Jan 2026.
