Faustino Gonga explained that around 200 tonnes of fertilizers are available in Bengo to be distributed to agricultural cooperatives in the province.

“The fertilizers begin to be distributed this week. Each 50-kilogram bag costs 17,285.00. But the beneficiaries pay only 35 percent of the value. The rest is subsidized by the State”, he assured.

He added that the cooperatives will be obliged to pay only 6,000 kwanzas, in each of the two programmed phases, to total 12,000 kwanzas per bag. “Therefore, the remaining five thousand, two hundred and eighty-five kwanzas represent the part subsidized by the State, in each bag of fertilizer”, he clarified.
