Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of the MPLA in Bengo, Maria Antónia Nelumba, stated, in Caxito, that she wants the activists included in the party’s action committees (CAPs), as it is the place of quantitative and qualitative growth.
When speaking at the opening of the provincial training seminar for party leaders and cadres, as part of the process of holding assemblies to review and renew mandates at CAP’s, communal and municipal conferences of the MPLA, he said that true militancy is exercised under control and dedicated body and soul to the base.
The party leader considered the party “true activists”, those who are engaged in true action that adds value and dynamism to the party.
“Let’s all go to the grassroots to raise our party’s flag high together”, he stressed.
According to politics, it is necessary to identify the most capable activists and those who gather consensus among the others in order to be elected.
“We cannot fall into the traps of friendliness, cronyism or nepotism, as they are very dangerous cancers that threaten good political coexistence and the successful completion of all the political work that we have been planning and carrying out”, he stressed.
Carrying out this process throughout the province aims to create greater dynamism and vivacity in the work, and guarantee a greater political presence of the party in the communities, he said.
Leaders and staff from the Party Action Committees (CAP’s), communal committees and the party’s first municipal secretaries participated in the seminar.
