Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of the MPLA in Cuanza Sul, Job Capapinha, defended, this Friday, in the city of Sumbe, the strengthening of unity and cohesion among the party’s militants and supporters, with a view to facing future challenges .
When speaking at the opening of the XI extraordinary session of the executive committee of the party’s provincial committee, Job Capapinha called for the strengthening of internal democracy, in order to promote criticism and self-criticism within the organization.
On the occasion, the party leader reaffirmed the MPLA’s commitment to improving the living conditions of the populations.
“Despite the national and international economic and social challenges, the majority of the patriotic people of Angola wanted the MPLA to win the elections on August 24, 2022 for the fifth consecutive time and this reflects and increases the commitment to improving the quality of life of the citizens”, he highlighted.
During the meeting, participants are analyzing the program of activities related to the party’s 67th anniversary, to be celebrated on December 10th, among other matters.
