Africa-Press – Angola. The MPLA’s first municipal secretary in Sumbe (Cuanza Sul), Adérito Jorge, encouraged the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, on Saturday to continue the political and economic reforms underway in the country, in favor of improving the population’s quality of life .
When speaking at the end of a march in support of the speech on the State of the Nation given by the Head of State, João Lourenço, the party leader highlighted the projects implemented by the Executive in the region for the benefit of citizens.
‘In his speech on the state of the Nation, President João Lourenço addressed several issues for the country’s development, which is why we have the mission of working together to comply with these guidelines”, he highlighted.
On the occasion, the politician called for the strengthening of cohesion and unity within the party’s members, for the growth of the organization.
‘The MPLA is a brand, which is why each of us is called to play our role in strengthening cohesion and unity within the party. We will continue to work to guarantee social peace, harmony and stability of populations”, he highlighted.
During the march, MPLA leaders, cadres, activists and supporters walked through various arteries in the city of Sumbe displaying messages of encouragement to President João Lourenço to continue working for the well-being of citizens.
