Africa-Press – Angola. The MPLA requested in the municipality of Nharea, Bié province, the party members, with responsibility for governance, more work, in order to contribute to the country’s socioeconomic growth and consequently the quality of life of the populations.
The appeal comes from the secretary of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee for organization and integration into MPLA society, Gonçalves Muandumba, who spoke at the mass event with activists, friends and supporters in the municipality of Nharea,
“He who is a governor, municipal and communal administrator, director must work for the people, respect and serve the people well and not close himself in his office, forgetting his main task, as a public servant”, he warned.
According to the politician, each member, in their area of jurisdiction, must be an example of peace and stability, to make the party increasingly stronger, cohesive, dynamic and more united.
He took the opportunity to call for the strengthening of dialogue with youth, encouraging them to invest in entrepreneurship and other practices that help to promote self-employment.
In the province of Bié, Gonçalves Manuel Muandumba will also hold meetings with members of the secretariat of the executive committee of the provincial committee, with former JMPLA leaders, as well as visiting the area for issuing militant cards, in Cuito.
On Saturday, he will attend the extraordinary assembly to review and renew mandates of the OMA executive secretariat in Bié.
