Africa-Press – Angola. The acting first secretary of the MPLA in the province of Cunene, Gonçalves Namueia, reaffirmed, this Monday, the party’s commitment to improving the living conditions of the population.

In a statement to the Press, he said that the government’s flag is the promotion and defense of the best interests of the Angolan people, under the leadership of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço.

The politician said that it is necessary for Angolans to be united and contribute to improving living conditions, unconditionally supporting the public policies that are being developed, in order to materialize the commitments assumed by the program presented during the electoral election.

According to the leader, it is necessary for Angolans to be united around ongoing policies, unconditionally supporting the President of the Republic.

“We must remain firm to, hand in hand, help the President to materialize the commitments of the MPLA’s governance program and the policies presented in his speech on the state of the Nation, whose goal is the well-being of the populations”, he explained.

Despite the difficult economic situation that the country is going through, he said that it is essential to reinforce cohesion and unity within the party’s members, for the growth of the organization, as well as to preserve the peace and political stability achieved through hard work, so that, in a general, all citizens can live well.
