Africa-Press – Angola. The secretary of the MPLA Political Bureau for Organization, Mobilization and Insertion in Society, Gonçalves Muandumba, reiterated, in the commune of Monte-Belo, municipality of Bocoio, the party’s commitment to the technical and professional training of youth, aiming at their employability.
Gonçalves Muandumba made this statement during a working visit to the municipalities of Balombo and Bocoio, where he held several consultation meetings with activists from the basic structures of this political formation.
According to the politician, technical-professional training, youth employability, targeted self-construction, as well as support with micro credits, are among the MPLA Government’s priorities for the next five years.
He mentioned that small supports allow young people to be encouraged with some creativity and initiatives, giving them tools and serious support, so that there is no failure.
The official said that the MPLA is aware of the difficult economic moment the country is experiencing, and that there are still many challenges facing youth and women’s empowerment, without forgetting that the essence of the MPLA is to “solve the people’s problems”.
He recognized, on the other hand, the agricultural potential that the regions of Balombo and Bocoio represent, and argued that the Executive, through the national program of structuring roads, should rehabilitate the secondary and tertiary roads in order to facilitate the flow of products from the countryside to large commercial areas.
Gonçalves Muandumba emphasized that the Executive’s programs are well aligned and will improve the lives of many young people, as well as the living conditions of the population, without false promises.
He also ensured that there was political will and concrete decisions to gradually resolve the problems arising from financial opportunities at the level of provinces and municipalities, demanding, however, rigor in supervision.
He called for everyone to come together in identifying problems and finding solutions for the well-being of communities, looking at the new paradigm that requires effort and commitment from everyone at various levels.
Regarding the meeting he held with activists from both regions, he made it known that it allowed contributions, opinions and suggestions to be heard, without forgetting criticism.
The interaction with party activists also aimed to convey the MPLA’s challenges, as a result of the past elections, and is also making it possible to monitor each commune and municipal headquarters on how the commitments made are progressing, as well as evaluating how the various problems that are being resolved are being resolved. continue to afflict communities.
