MPLA reiterates its commitment to improving social conditions

Africa-Press – Angola. The vice-president of the MPLA, Luísa Damião, reaffirmed, this Tuesday, the continuous commitment to improving the social conditions of Angolans, with a greater focus on health and education.

Luísa Damião made this statement at the inaugural ceremony of the Deolinda Rodrigues Training Centre, located in the Urban District of Samba, in Luanda, with capacity for 300 trainees.

According to the leader, the main priorities of the MPLA continue to be education and health, taking into account that an educated people can best contribute to the development of the country.

“We will continue to invest in the field of health, despite the construction of several large health units in order to improve the living conditions of Angolans”, he said.

Among the priorities he pointed out the construction of hydroelectric dams which, in addition to supplying electricity, contribute to improving the supply of water to the population, based on structuring projects.

“The MPLA’s commitment is to the Angolan people and the renewal of trust is indeed evident. We must continue to work for Angola and the Angolans”, she reinforced.

For him, the fact that Angolans renewed their votes of confidence in the MPLA is proof that the party has always worked for the Angolan people and that this time will be no different.

As for the year 2023, the director considers it “very challenging” and that it will be faced with “a lot of optimism”.
