MPLA urges militancy formed on the basis of party discipline

Africa-Press – Angola. The second secretary of the MPLA in the province of Huambo, Adérito Chimuco, appealed, this Saturday, to young people to establish their activism based on party discipline, observance of hierarchy and responsibility for strengthening internal democracy.

The politician, who was speaking during the XI ordinary plenary session of the JMPLA, said that hard work by the staff, in general, is essential to ensure or establish the condition of the militants, taking into account discipline and compliance with the statutes of the youth branch of the broken.

He recalled that the discipline required consists of organic processes and respecting the reporting periods to be defined by higher structures and directives, in scrupulous compliance with all stages, in which the involvement of all activists is essential.

The political leader said that JMPLA continues to be the country’s great school, as well as being a breeding ground for the MPLA, as it constitutes the basis for future leaders of the party, the Government and society in general.

For his part, the first secretary of JMPLA in the province of Huambo, José Carlos Tombo, reiterated the engagement, dedication and discipline of all cadres and activists, with a view to scrupulous compliance with the party’s guidelines and the actions inherent to current challenges.

He highlighted the process of holding assemblies to review and renew mandates for the party structures and the organic process of the JMPLA’s IX ordinary congress, as the main challenges, at this moment, for the association, whose success depends on everyone’s involvement.

“We are fulfilling the last year of the mandate of the VIII ordinary JMPLA congress, marked by great challenges and achievements, so we must be proud and recognize the dedication and selflessness of this committee, taking into account the contribution that each one made to the party and to the support for President João Lourenço”, he said.

JMPLA, whose patron is the nationalist Hoji-Ya-Henda, was founded on November 23, 1962, in Leopoldville, now Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

In the province of Huambo, it has close to 150 thousand militants, distributed across 11 municipalities and 37 communes.
